Comexi strengthens presence in Eastern Europe

Comexi Group is to open a spare parts store in Moscow, Russia in an effort to strengthen its position in Eastern Europe.

The flexible packaging converting machinery specialist reached an agreement with PSP to open a spare parts store In Moscow during Upakovka, which was located in the Russian city.

Comexi said the opening of its own spare parts store in Moscow ‘reinforces the effectiveness of post-sale services throughout the whole Eastern Europe market’.

Comexi also used Upakovka, held at the end of January, to present a number of press technologies to Russia and the Eastern European market. This included the Offset CI8, Acom R2 rotogravure printing machine, and Flexo F2 platform with solvent and water-based inks.  

For lamination and special coatings, the Comexi Nexus SL2 and a new holographic laminator were shown, as were slitting and rewinding technologies and its laser anilox roll cleaning system, Enviroxi LCR, plus the Enviroxi Ecodistil solvent recovery system.

Over the four days of Upakovka, Comexi said it met with more than 200 professionals representing 50 companies.
