Electro Optic and Bunting Magnetics form partnership
Bunting Magnetics and Electro Optic US have announced a narrow web flexographic printing and converting partnership that will see Bunting magnetic cylinders and Electro Optic US flexible dies offered through a single source.
As a result, and effective immediately, Electro Optic US is the sole distributor of Bunting magnetic cylinders to label printers in the US and Canada.
Electro Optic US president Markus Marfurt said: ‘Our collaboration with Bunting Magnetics brings together the finest magnetic cylinders available and the world-renowned Electro Optic flexible dies.
‘This arrangement will streamline the supply chain for these critical items, and ensure that printers and converters can look to a single source.’
Bunting Magnetics printing product manager Michael Wilks said: ‘Because magnetic cylinders are an infrequent purchase, we gain sales and service efficiencies by using the Electro Optic US sales organization for distribution. We look forward to a long and productive relationship with this most highly regarded flexible die producer.’
