Erhardt+Leimer, the German inspection and control technology specialist, is to work on expanding its brand in the Middle East after a successful Gulf Print & Pack 2013.

Dirk Schroeder, Erhardt+Leimer’s sales manager, said the company had welcomed a number of quality customers on to its stand during the Dubai event, and said it would return at Gulf Print & Pack 2015.

Erhardt+Leimer is already active in a small capacity in the Middle East, and has a partnership with Lebanon’s Phoenix Machinery, which Schroeder said will make access to the Lebanese market easier.

It will be looking to grow its brand in other markets in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia, where Schroeder said there are many business opportunities.

At Gulf Print & Pack 2013, the company only showed a small demonstration unit, but is set to include more hardware from its product portfolio in 2015.

Schroeder said: ‘This is a tipping point for Erhardt+Leimer, and we will be looking to do more in this region. Gulf Print & Pack is the trigger.’

Gulf Print & Pack 2013 concludes tomorrow at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and will return in 2015 on April 13-16.
