Gerhardt, a manufacturer of rotary tools, has strengthened its partnership with Jet Technologies, an Australia-based supplier of machinery to the narrow web market.

Jet Technologies operates sales offices and warehouses in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. ‘With the success of Jet Technologies’ sales in the magnetic cylinder and flexible die product range it made sense to extend this to the entire product portfolio, inclusive of products manufactured in Australia,’ said a spokesperson for Gerhardt in a statement.

Jack Malki, director of Jet Technologies, said: ‘The strategic alliance with Gerhardt has, in a short period of time, become one of the key partnerships for Jet Technologies and we recognized quickly that clients wanted to see the same approach across the entire range of Gerhardt products. Gerhardt have long been considered the premier supplier of tooling to the narrow web market and we are proud to be working even more closely with them.’

Additional employees dedicated to the Gerhardt portfolio have been employed in the Sydney head office to assist this increased partnership. Ian Sarney, who was previously employed as Gerhardt’s sales manager in Asia Pacific, will play an integral role in the transition.

From November 1 2009 Jet Technologies will be the first point of contact for all product enquiries (both technical and sales-related) for Gerhardt rotary tooling products in Australia

A new email address for all Gerhardt related queries and orders has been setup: gerhardt@jet-technologies.com.au
