Harper donates anilox rolls to Clemson University

Harper Corporation of America has donated 16,000 US dollars worth of anilox rolls to Clemson University’s Sonoco Institute of Packaging Design and Graphics. The rolls, for the Omet VaryFlex 520 press, will assist the educational facility in providing quality training to future flexographic professionals. Students will now be better equipped to conduct high definition printing and specialty ink applications.
Located in Clemson, South Carolina, the Sonoco Institute offers courses in packaging science and graphic communications. The organization aims to provide the skills and knowledge that flexographic professionals need to excel in the 21st century. A one-of-a-kind research and development center, the Sonoco Institute plays a key role in pushing the technology of the flexographic industry forward.
Harper Corporation of America said it is grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the education of industry professionals. It believes that students should train with the best resources possible in an effort to provide them with the skill set that will be required in the working world.
