Recyl machines successfully tested at Gallus demo center

The Gallus demo center in St Gallen, Switzerland, has tested and approved Recyl’s cleaning products and equipment for flexo, gravure and offset printers.
‘The cleaning of aniloxes, parts, or plates is key for printers to improve their printing quality,’ said the company in statement. ‘Regular anilox cleaning ensures each job will be printed with full transfer capacity.’
There are three machines currently installed in the Gallus demo center. The MediaClean 800 anilox cleaning machine uses a plastic media blasting system and all plastic media is recycled as standard waste. Approximately 40 machines have been installed globally in the last two years.
The Simplex 80 washes parts using chemical products – produced by Recyl – at 50 degrees Celsius. The system works in closed circuit and the product can be reused for one to three months. According to the size of the machine, parts of an 8-color machine can be completely washed in five to 15 minutes. Around 100 machines have been installed worldwide in the last 10 years.
The Washing Fountain is a manual parts and plates washing station. Small in size, it can be installed anywhere in the printing shop and uses chemical products at 40 degrees Celsius.
