Graphimecc Group appoints Vlad Sljapic as new chief commercial officer

Graphimecc Group - a supplier of encoding, traceability, RFID and anti-counterfeiting technologies based in Verona, Italy - has appointed Dr. Vlad Sljapic as a consulting chief commercial officer for the group.

Dr. Sljapic holds a degree in mechanical engineering and a masters in engineering management from the University of Birmingham (UK) where he also read for a PhD in nanotechnology applied to inkjet printable electronics. Sljapic also worked on a string of projects in molecule-sized sensor development and biomedical lab-on-a-chip research. He completed an MBA focused on digital printing and converting in 2013.

Since 2004, Dr. Sljapic held a number of senior roles in the digital printing industry, including director EMEA for Domino Digital Printing and vice president of global sales for Xeikon. He joins Graphimecc Group from the role of chief commercial officer of AVA, a machine learning and artificial intelligence development company in Berlin, Germany.
