MacDermid Graphics Solutions makes two new appointments

MacDermid Graphics Solutions, a global supplier of photopolymer plates and platemaking products to the package printing industry, has two new global positions with the promotion of Adrien Bourguignon to director of global applications support and the appointment of Mark Fleming to director of global equipment operations.

Bourguignon will create, implement, and manage global benchmarking tools, methods, and templates used by regional support personnel. Bourguignon joined MacDermid in 2013 as an applications specialist and transitioned to European technical coordinator in 2015. 'In his new role, Bourguignon will ensure the customer's technical service experience is effective, efficient, and consistent globally,' said the company in a statement.

Fleming's new role will streamline MacDermid's equipment strategy and operations, including solvent processing systems, liquid photopolymer equipment, and exclusive Lava thermal systems. Fleming joins MacDermid with over 20 years of graphic arts experience, most recently with HP Inc. While at HP, Fleming held various leadership roles in customer experience, supplies, and service for the Americas. Fleming will formalize MacDermid's global equipment strategy, enhancing worldwide service and support systems infrastructure and practices.

Bourguignon and Fleming will report to Ryan Vest, director of innovation and technology, and will reside in Castelnau-le-Lez, Occitanie, France, and Atlanta, Georgia, USA, respectively.
