Flexo training center welcomes Russians

Some 23 professionals representing Ermatel, Uniflex, Tom Ltda, FlexoService, Tiko Plastic, Tpk Poliflex, JCS Aurika, 2A and more participated in the course.

The course combined theoretical lectures with practical demonstrations, and throughout the four days, participants reinforced their knowledge of the different concepts and processes within flexographic printing: electronic engineering, pre-press, quality control, color management, productivity optimization and maintenance, amongst others.

Furthermore, a program of speakers highlighted new trends in the industry and technologies that allow improving performance, print quality and machine effectiveness.

The objective of the Manel Xifra Boada Technology Centre, part of Spain’s Comexi Group, is to position itself as a driving force for know-how within the flexible packaging sector. Founded in 2013 as an independent body, its activity is centered on training and consultancy services, academic activities, innovation and development. The facilities also include a demonstration center in the form of a 2,200 sq m industrial laboratory equipped with its own machinery capable of carrying out customized trials and acting as a collaboration centre for converters, co-suppliers and brand owners.

Advanced flexo training sessions will be held in English and French at the Manel Xifra Boada Technological Center in March and April.
