Flexographic Technical Association (FTA), have announced the theme for Forum 2018: ‘Bringing It All Together: Synchronizing Processes, People and Potential.’

More than 2,000 professionals from every segment of the supply chain are expected to attend the May 6-9, 2018, event, which will be hosted next year at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The Forum 2018 agenda addresses synchronization of many parts of the industry. The event will feature nine informative sessions, topics include student research about the future of flexo, how company cultures impact all strategic planning for success, and new capabilities and technologies of today’s flexo presses. The customer’s point of view of package printing and the brand management process, how to effectively communicate the proof approval process between brand owner and printer, also will be presented.

The sessions are:

• taming consumer behavior through packaging design

• FIRST in motion – wide web project

• press approval match game

• advanced corrugated technologies: a business case

• troubleshooting survival guide

In addition, the program agenda will offer a complimentary pre-conference session titled ‘purchasing printing/converting equipment: flexo’s new market scenario’ Program development is being led by Forum chair Bob Coomes, of Plastic Packaging Technologies, LLC and co-chair Ann Michaud, of 3M. Collocated with Forum 2018 is Infoflex, which takes place May 7-8 at the Indiana Convention Center, featuring hundreds of the industry’s top suppliers.
