Highcon looks forward to effective and focused Drupa in 2016
- Highcon made its Drupa debut in 2012, showing its Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing system for folding carton production

- New Drupa schedule annonced this week, in 2016 and over 11 days, will increase ‘focus and effectiveness’ of next event

Folding carton production innovator Highcon has said it believes the next instalment of Drupa will enhance the focus and effectiveness, after it was announced the show would take place in 2016 over 11 days.

Rumors had persisted that the show was to switch to a three-year cycle after the organizers spent the summer canvassing opinions from exhibitors and visitors on how to improve future editions. However, the 2015 rumor proved to be incorrect, while the duration was shortened from two weeks to 11 days.

Highcon was a first-time exhibitor at Drupa 2012, and showed its Euclid digital cutting and creasing system for folding carton production to large crowds.

Highcon chief executive officer Aviv Ratzman said: ‘This year was our first Drupa and it provided an excellent platform for launching our digital folding carton solution.

‘We are pleased that the show will continue its four-year cycle and believe that shortening the show to 11 days will only help to increase its focus and effectiveness.’
