Labelexpo Southeast Asia 2023 returns to Bangkok

Labelexpo Southeast Asia runs through Feb 11, features more than 170 exhibitors

Labelexpo Southeast Asia opens this week in Bangkok. The tradeshow is returning to the region since launching in 2018. Events planned in 2020 and 2022 were postponed in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

‘Labelexpo Southeast Asia is a unique show, covering this dynamic region which focuses on the greatest growth area within print,’ said Labelexpo portfolio director Jade Grace. ‘The momentum running up to the show has been fantastic, confirming the appetite the region has for seeing new technology and chasing efficiencies in this dynamic industry.’

Labelexpo Southeast Asia features more than 170 exhibitors from across the label and packaging supply chain, as well as a digital embellishment trail featuring Kurz, Grafotronic, Domino and Epson. Participating companies include and all will have samples and experts at the show to demonstrate the possibilities of variable embellishment.

Both digital and flexo technologies are attracting visitors on the first day, same as material suppliers who are showcasing their latest innovations.

Konica Minolta unveiled its AccurioLabel 400 5-color digital label press at the show. Durst is showcasing its Tau RSC E 330 5c, an entry-level introduction to Durst’s Tau RSC technology. Flora brought its J-330S, a compact 5-color digital UV inkjet machine with Epson print heads. The Chinese company launched this new model a year and a half ago, and already has 50 installations in China, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Russia.

Malaysian manufacturer Sen Label was showcasing high-speed full servo intermittent UV flexo and UV LED letterpress.
