AWA sleeve conference returns

Chicago event covers sleeve label market trends and sustainability.

AWA Alexander Watson Associates has announced the AWA International Sleeve Label Conference and Exhibition 2026, which will bring converters, material suppliers, technology providers, equipment manufacturers, recyclers and brand owners to Chicago, Illinois, on November 17 to 18, 2026 to explore market developments shaping the sleeve label industry.

The program will feature presentations, fireside chats and panel discussions on global sleeve label market trends and outlook, sustainability and design for recycling, films and materials, converting technology, printing technologies and production excellence, packaging functionality and brand impact, and smart manufacturing, automation and traceability. Sessions will also cover APR guidance and developments affecting shrink sleeve recyclability.

Speakers represent organizations including CCL Label, BW Packaging, Bonset America Corporation, Innovia Films, Verst Logistics, Steinhauser, Brook + Whittle, MCC Label, Flint Group Packaging Solutions, Inland Packaging, Taghleef Industries and The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR). Program highlights include circular packaging, floatable shrink sleeves, light-blocking technologies, advances in films and converting, sustainable inks and evolving recycling guidelines.

The conference will also present the AWA Sleeve Label Awards 2026, recognizing achievements in innovation, sustainability, technical excellence, print quality and sleeve label design. The awards showcase sleeve label applications from converters and their brand partners around the world, with winners announced during the conference.
