Celab Europe highlights liner and matrix recycling at Labelexpo

Celab Europe is showcasing release liner and matrix waste recycling in the self-adhesive label industry at Labelexpo Europe 2025, taking place in Barcelona from September 16-19.

As a key initiative within the European label community, Celab Europe is committed to building a circular economy for label materials. By connecting printers and converters with certified recyclers across Europe, Celab enables companies to reduce landfill waste, lower their environmental footprint and comply with increasingly stringent waste management regulations.

'Our mission is to make label waste recycling accessible, scalable and economically viable for the entire value chain,' said Marius Tent from ViaPackaging UG, Celab Europe’s project management partner. 'Labelexpo is an ideal opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals and demonstrate what’s possible.'

Celab Europe presents on the Finat stand, 4E49, where visitors can learn more about regional recycling options, explore success stories and speak with experts about how to improve their own sustainability performance.

In addition, Tent is contributing to the AWA Label Release Liner Seminar, as well as Labelexpo's The Pulse feature area during the event, addressing key topics such as infrastructure, regulatory developments and industry best practices.
