Recoup Awards 2026 shortlist revealed

The shortlist for the 2026 Recoup Awards has been revealed, showcasing the organizations, products, projects and innovations helping to accelerate plastics circularity across the UK and beyond. 

Recognizing excellence across the plastics value chain, The Recoup Awards celebrate those delivering practical solutions that advance resource efficiency, recycling, reuse and sustainable design. This year's finalists demonstrate the innovation, ambition and collaboration needed to support the transition towards a more circular economy for plastics. 

The winners will be announced at The Recoup Awards Ceremony & Networking Dinner on September 30, where industry leaders, innovators, brands, recyclers, policymakers and sustainability professionals will come together to celebrate outstanding achievements and connect with peers from across the sector. 

Shortlists for the Plastics Circularity Project of the Year include Gemcorp Recycling & Technologies for circular economy, Ocado Retail for connecting the circular economy: Ocado Retail and Polytag partnership and Wrap for The UK Plastics Pact. 

Shortlists for the Best Innovation in Equipment or Technology include Sorted Technologies for Sortbot, ReVentas for ReVentas BOPP and Greyparrot for Deepnest by Greyparrot. 

Shortlists for the Best Plastic Product Development for Recyclability or Re-Use include Klöckner Pentaplast for kp Elite Nova, SPS Pouches for Mono-PE Pouch and Amcor for La Rosée Refillable Deodorant Stick. 

Shortlists for the Recycled Plastic Product of the Year include Amcor for Amcor skincare stick applicator for Decathlon, Klöckner Pentaplast for kp Elite Nova and Faerch Group & Pilgrims Food for Tray rPET in CPET ready meals. 

With ticket sales closing on September 18, now is the final opportunity to secure a place at the event.  

The celebrations don't end with the awards dinner. The following day, The Recoup Plastics Assembly brings together around 300 of the sector's leading voices for a day of fresh thinking, meaningful discussion and practical insight. Designed to spark collaboration and inspire action, the assembly is an opportunity to build on the connections made at the awards and continue the conversation around sustainability and circularity.
