Smart labeling seminar heads to Chicago

RFID, BLE and energy-harvesting label technologies on agenda for September event.

The AWA and AIPIA Smart labeling Seminar 2026 will take place on September 14 in Chicago alongside Loupe Americas 2026, covering the latest developments in RFID, NFC, Bluetooth Low Energy, IoT and connected product technologies through expert presentations and case studies.

Three confirmed sessions include a presentation from Ashley Burkle, director of sales and business development at Identiv, comparing RFID and Bluetooth Low Energy technologies and their emerging applications across logistics, packaging and retail.

Stephen Statler, CEO of ambientChat.ai, will address how AI is moving into physical products and packaging through ambient IoT and connected product platforms.

Alain Jutant, vice president of business development at Dracula Technologies, will present how organic photovoltaic technology is enabling energy-autonomous smart labels by harvesting ambient light to power RFID, NFC and sensor applications.
