AVT announces new combined organization for EMEA

AVT is introducing a unified sales, marketing and customer support organization to manage the combined activities of AVT and GMI (Graphic Microsystems, Inc.) product lines in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The new combined EMEA organization will handle all AVT and GMI activities (i.e., sales, marketing, customer support, logistics and administration, etc.) in the region under the leadership of Koby Shtaierman, president of AVT EMEA. The unified organization, AVT EMEA, will provide customers, OEMs, dealers and other partners of AVT and GMI, comprehensive and efficient life-cycle support for all AVT and GMI solutions.

The joint team of regional sales and marketing representatives of the EMEA organization will continue serving the industry with both AVT and GMI product lines, while answering the specific needs of the industry’s various segments with a special attention to regional-related needs.

The unified customer support organization, headquartered at the AVT-GMI Center in Belgium, comprises a local team of skilled professionals managed by newly nominated Glyn Evans. The customer support representatives are located in various countries close to the customers, backed by a newly introduced IT system and a logistics centre, to best support the growing activities of the AVT group in the EMEA region.

‘This development is an important step in the integration of the AVT and GMI activities, reflecting operational synergy benefits of the AVT and GMI solutions and the company as a whole,’ said Koby Shtaierman, president of AVT EMEA. ‘The benefits of AVT and GMI synergy can already be seen by customers who have AVT and GMI systems in their press rooms. Not only will they be dealing with a single company, but they have the added value of the joint, well-integrated technologies to ensure optimal results.’
