Bobst wins ‘Best of Year’ award in South America

The Bobst Accubraille system has been named ‘Best of Year’ in the Machinery, Equipment, and Systems category by Brazilian magazine Embanews, at its annual awards ceremony.  Embanews specializes in covering packaging for the food, beverage, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals markets, and the Annual Awards event, now in its 20^th year, is the most highly regarded in the Brazilian packaging industry.
 
Accubraille, which is designed to work on Bobst folder-gluers, has revolutionized the application of Braille embossing on packaging.  The manufacturer claims it is quick and easy to set, cost-effective, and delivers excellent Braille dot definition over the whole length of the run.
 
Representatives of Bobst Group Latinoamerica do Sul Ltda were presented with the award at a ceremony in Sao Paulo.  Embanews founder, Roberto Hiraishi, commented: ‘Best of the Year is a tribute to companies that excel in their activities, and contribute to the evolution of Brazilian packaging.’
