Mark Andy launches SmartPress program
New offering cuts press delivery time from 16 weeks to eight across three platforms.
Mark Andy has launched SmartPress, a program offering application-ready press configurations on its Pro Series, E5 and P7 platforms, cutting delivery time from 16 weeks to eight by pre-optimizing configurations for labels, film and label, or shrink sleeve and label applications.
The program organizes presses by application rather than individual specification, allowing converters to select a purpose-built starting point and add optional packages covering hot air drying, UV curing, sheeting and conveying, cold foil, extended-run features and quick-changeover systems. Configurations are based on Mark Andy's accumulated engineering experience and are designed to reduce waste, support faster operator ramp-up and deliver reliable output from day one.
'Converters are under growing pressure to improve ROI, and every week of delay impacts time-to-production, productivity and payback,' said Duane Pekar, CEO of Mark Andy. 'SmartPress lets converters invest with confidence, knowing they're getting a proven configuration that meets their needs on day one without guessing, overspending or leaving an ounce of productivity on the table.'
Early customers include Natural State Label Company, which ordered an E-Series press through the program.
'The fast production lead time played a major role in helping us move forward quickly, and their team made the entire process simple from quoting to planning,' said Lindsey Clark, marketing manager at Natural State Label Company.
