Mark Andy, along with Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), its distributor in the Indian subcontinent, has planned to promote its extensive portfolio of flexo and hybrid presses at the upcoming LMAI Conference 2025, scheduled to take place from July 3 to 6 in Udaipur, under the theme ‘Emerging Beyond Boundaries’. The presses have been newly upgraded with advanced servo technologies.

Mark Andy has established a vast machine installation base with a host of satisfied customers, in which FIG plays a committed role in delivering the best presses and excellent post-sales service.

Florian Stroe, sales manager, Mark Andy, remarked: 'Together with FIG, we are a trustworthy business partner for our Indian customers. We say, ‘Your Growth is Our Growth,’ to our customers because we take pride in all the successful installations of Mark Andy presses that bring fresh revenue to their businesses. Credit for all these must go to our undisputed partner FIG.'

According to Stroe, India is and will continue to be an evolving market due to the dynamics of businesses and the need for new servo technologies to replace outdated and low-production equipment. 'We see new flexo presses are getting into the present Indian market, prepared to be the products for the future. In the scenario, hybrid digital presses will gradually gain popularity as we see a lot of converters showing interest in the fusion technology.'

When it comes to a global shift in short-run and customized printing, Mark Andy presses are now fully servo-driven and automated to minimize makeready waste and setup time, with very tight registration, allowing for printing even expanded gamut. 'However, for short-run jobs we have the best hybrid equipment—Digital Series HD UV inkjet press, a productive, efficient, fully modular, and capable machine to integrate any custom equipment or technology,' mentioned Stroe.

Either the flexo or the hybrid model, Mark Andy presses available in India are perfectly designed and engineered to meet the latest market demands. 'Fully servo-driven and automated, all our presses need low maintenance and they last long,' shared Stroe, adding: 'Other added advantages include the lowest makeready times and setup waste with the highest productivity.'

In the ongoing debate over digital, flexo, and hybrid printing, Stroe commented that the future holds rapid growth for digital and hybrid presses over the next five years, enabling them to handle an increasing number of short-run jobs. He added: 'We do not want to make predictions. We endeavor to strive to be one of the top manufacturers of flexo and digital hybrid presses in the world.'
