Digital Label Workshop added to inkjet conference

Giga Information Group in association with Labels and Labelling Magazine is launching the Digital Label and Tag Printing Workshop on 19 March 2003 at the Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Hotel in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This new event precedes the 26th Global Ink Jet and Thermal Printing Conference, which is the annual meeting place for all the major players in the printing markets.
Labels & Labelling editor Andy Thomas will address the workshop on digital printing developments from Labelexpo Chicago 2002, while Mark Andy expands on the possibilities offered by its in-line conventional/digital press system. Other papers include a comparison between thermal transfer and ink jet technologies for on-demand label and tag solutions; digital label presses using thermal transfer technology; and an insight into digital technology from the view of label converters.
