Colorix, an Orange Company and a provider of advanced digital printing technology, has installed its second Jetrix-E hybrid digital label press in India at Artisan Venture, Ahmedabad, marking another significant milestone in the company's expansion strategy for the label and packaging segment.

The installation follows the successful commissioning of the first Jetrix digital label press at Swastik Arts, Mumbai, reinforcing the growing market acceptance of Jetrix technology among progressive label converters seeking enhanced production capabilities, premium embellishment options, and greater operational flexibility.

The newly installed Jetrix-E hybrid digital label press features 5-color digital printing integrated with pre-flexo and cold foil units, delivering a hybrid production platform that combines digital agility with the value-added capabilities of conventional label production. Designed around Jetrix's unique digital, flexo and foil architecture together, the press enables converters to produce premium labels with high print quality, decorative enhancements and efficient workflow integration.

As demand continues to rise for shorter print runs, faster turnaround times, SKU proliferation, and premium packaging aesthetics, hybrid digital production technologies are becoming increasingly important for forward-looking label manufacturers. The investment by Artisan Venture reflects this growing industry shift toward more versatile and future-ready production environments.

Commenting on the achievement, Hariom Dave, head of department – label and publication division, Orange O Tec, said: ‘The successful installation at Artisan Venture represents another important milestone in the Jetrix journey in India. Following our first installation at Swastik Arts, Mumbai, this achievement further validates the industry's confidence in the Colorix Jetrix platform and its ability to address the evolving requirements of modern label production. We are delighted to welcome Nikunj Shah, Kunal Patel, Virag Amin, and the entire Artisan Venture team to the growing Jetrix family.’

Sharing his thoughts on the investment, Nikunj Shah, director, Artisan Venture, said: ‘We are pleased to partner with Colorix and invest in the Jetrix-E hybrid digital label press. The combination of digital printing, pre-flexo and cold foil offers a highly versatile production platform that will help us expand our premium label offerings and create new opportunities for our customers. We look forward to leveraging this technology to deliver greater value and innovation to the market.’

The latest installation further strengthens Colorix's position as a technology partner committed to bringing high-quality digital label printing technology to the Indian market. Backed by local sales, service, application expertise, and customer support, the company continues to support converters as they transition to digitally enabled production environments.

With successful installations now completed at Swastik Arts, Mumbai, and Artisan Venture, Ahmedabad, Colorix is steadily expanding the footprint of Jetrix technology across India while reinforcing its commitment to innovation, productivity, and long-term customer success.
