Karstedt Partners, a consultant to the consumer product and packaging industries, has partnered with digital packaging innovator Michael Ferrari of Ferrari Innovation Solutions to deliver a specialized Commercialization Assessment Report designed to help packaging brand owners evaluate digital printing technologies for packaging and labels.

Michael Ferrari, a long-time industry proponent of digital packaging printing, brings over 36 years of hands-on work experience to the project. Ferrari founded Ferrari Innovation Solutions after completing a career as an R&D associate director at The Procter & Gamble Company, where he introduced digital printing into the Procter & Gamble supply chain. He was the sole and co-inventor of several patents and winner of the 2009 and 2010 DuPont Packaging Innovation Award. During his time at P&G, he was awarded their Baby Care’s Presidential Award and their Cost Innovation Award. He also served on the board of directors for the FTA (Flexographic Technical Association), and has presented on a range of technical topics in 13 countries for key industry conferences and university events.

‘We’re thrilled to work with Mike on these reports – his experience, passion, and commitment in challenging brands to “change the game” is sure to encourage people who tend to lean back when faced with disruptive technology to lean forward and embrace it. We hope our clients will use the research, tools, and data in this report to create actionable plans for their business,’ said Karstedt Partners’ CEO Kevin Karstedt.

The new Commercialization Assessment Reports (CARs) for brand owners is in final stages of development and will be available for online purchase at www.karstedt.comin mid Q2.
