Konica Minolta earns Climate A List
Japanese company achieves CDP's highest environmental evaluation for the ninth time.
Konica Minolta has been selected for CDP's Climate A List 2025, marking the ninth time it has received the international environmental organization's highest evaluation for climate action and transparency.
CDP's Climate A List recognizes companies demonstrating global leadership in setting goals and taking action to combat climate change while maintaining strong disclosure practices.
The selection aligns with Konica Minolta's commitment to achieve net zero CO2 emissions across Scope 1, 2 and 3 throughout its product lifecycle by 2050. The company addresses this target through five material issues, including 'Addressing climate change' and 'Using limited resources effectively.'
Konica Minolta is strengthening what it calls an 'evolved core technology group' through AI integration and cross-business technology development. These efforts aim to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by improving workflows and supply chains.
'Konica Minolta remains committed to helping build a decarbonized society while achieving both business creation and growth,' according to Konica Minolta statement.
The company has earned multiple sustainability recognitions, including Supplier Engagement Leader certification from CDP in July 2025 and an AA rating from MSCI ESG Ratings in February 2025. Konica Minolta has maintained inclusion in various sustainability indices, including the FTSE4Good Index since 2003 and the S&P/JPX Carbon Efficient Index since 2018.
