Flexo Image Graphics, a distributor of Mark Andy and Rotoflex in India and selected neighboring countries, was among more than 250 exhibitors of the Labelexpo India 2022, which hosted over 12,000 guests.

‘Considering the canceled Brussels-based European edition of Labelexpo, we were extremely happy to present and promote our solutions during two other Labelexpo shows as it’s a very important global series of events for every printer and converter operating in narrow-web label and packaging market. In September, during Labelexpo Americas in Chicago, we demonstrated three hybrid presses, including this year’s premiere – a toner-based Digital Pro MAX,’ commented Tom Cavalco, executive vice president of Mark Andy.

During Labelexpo India, together with its long-term partner Flexo Image Graphics, Mark Andy had an opportunity to present its newest flexo and digital/hybrid offer to many current and possible customers from India and neighboring countries.

Gourav Roy, managing Director of Flexo Image Graphics, said: ‘We noted a very big interest in advanced solutions from Mark Andy. We signed several contracts, mainly with Indian and Chinese companies. For a long time, we have seen an increasing number of new business prospects interested in digital and hybrid solutions. We observe its growing popularity in our region of the world as an increasing number of label and converters have already bought them or seriously consider this kind of investment.’

‘Mark Andy the entire year 2022 has run under the “hybrid” motto. We have implemented many solutions of this kind in the recent 12 months,’ added Cavalco. ‘Moreover, some presses have been ordered by the current users of Mark Andy’s hybrid solutions. The events, either organized by our company or the ones we’ve participated in, also were dominated by integrating digital and conventional technologies in one process. “Digital” was the main motto of our booth at the Labelexpo Americas trade fair. We also focused on these solutions during Open House and Digital Days at our Polish and American-based Technology Centers. We have also noted the increasing popularity of hybrids in many other regions of the world e.g., Asian countries. According to many customers of Mark Andy, hybrid technology became a key driver of their development and, in some cases, an inevitable part of their production set.’

‘The majority of customers who visited our booth consider further investment and expansion of their business. Labelexpo India was the perfect place to meet and discuss new prospects as digital is increasingly popular, either among label converters or commercial and flexible substrate printers, looking for new, more efficient solutions for in-line production. Concluding, it was a good show, and we look forward to the new contracts following it, considering that buying decisions in our region are currently made based on attractive price and quick availability,’ concluded Roy.
