OKI Data Americas expands customer service offerings

OKI Data Americas has added a live online chat feature to supplement its customer support offerings.
The new feature, accessible through the company’s website, will be staffed by trained support technicians on weekdays from nine am to six pm ET in addition to the company’s live 24 hour, year round customer support service.
With minimal wait times, the new chat feature can be accessed via a designated tab on the right side of each page of the company’s website, and OKI reports that the number of customers making use of this feature is already increasing.
‘The live chat feature provides our customers with an additional way to gain access to our skilled support team,’ said Michael Boudreau, senior manager of customer support for OKI Data Americas. ‘Technical issues can be solved swiftly and conveniently. We are there to help our customers trouble-shoot via whatever channel they prefer, taking OKI’s commitment to customer service one step further.'
OKI also provides a host of customer service methods including a toll-free support hotline at 1-800-OKIDATA, and an email service via support@okidata.com. Its US-based toll-free hotline and email service are staffed by live customer support technicians 24 hours a day, seven days a week, all year round to support its broad portfolio of printers and customers throughout the United States and Canada.
