Screen appoints Bulgarian dealer

Screen Europe has appointed Print Solutions as its new official dealer for the Bulgarian market, providing local printing businesses with direct access to Screen's full portfolio of digital inkjet presses and Computer-to-Plate systems.

Family-owned and founded in 2013, Print Solutions originally entered the industry as a consumables supplier representing European ink manufacturers. In 2017, the company expanded into technical services, building its own engineering team to support printing and finishing equipment across Bulgaria.

'We're excited to be working directly with Screen,' commented Deyan Grudev, commercial director of Print Solutions. 'We were already familiar and were impressed by Screen's technology through supporting print finishing equipment, and now we'll be able to fully support an entire digital printing workflow from print through finishing.'

The company will now represent Screen's digital products, including the Truepress JET series for commercial and book printing, the Truepress Label line for labels, the Truepress PAC series for flexible packaging and Screen's Computer-to-Plate systems.

'These versatile and reliable printing systems are a perfect fit for the Bulgarian printing market as it continues to undergo a rapid transformation,' added Grudev. 'As consolidation continues, the number of smaller print businesses has decreased, and companies are adapting to a sector that until recently was mostly supported by offset printing.'

According to Grudev, Bulgarian printing companies are experiencing strong growth through exporting printed products such as commercial and pharmaceutical work as well as labels and packaging for customers across Europe.
