Drupa 2016 will have greater focus, says Goss

Drupa 2016 will have greater focus, says Goss
- 2016 date was preferred choice of company and show visitors

- Reduced length will bring greater focus

Goss sees the decisions taken yesterday regarding the future of Drupa as the preferred choice for the company and visitors to the show.

It was announced yesterday (November 5), that Drupa will take place in 2016 over a period of 11 days, as opposed to the traditional 14-day show rumored to be taking place in 2015.

Eric Bell, marketing services director at Goss International, said: ‘We are pleased that Drupa will stick to a four-year cycle; this is the preferred outcome for Goss and I believe for visitors too.'

Goss used Drupa 2012 to introduce its new Sunday Vpak range of packaging presses to an international audience, and recently announced it has shipped the first model to Precision Press in Minnesota.

Speaking on the decision to reduce the length of the show to 11 days, he added: ‘The reduced length should mean a greater focus from exhibitors and visitors for Drupa 2016.’
