DuPont Imaging Technologies opens Warehouse/Distribution Center

DuPont Imaging Technologies has formally opened a new warehouse and distribution center for DuPont Color Proofing and DuPont Cyrel packaging graphics products used in the graphic arts and printing industry. The 125,000 square foot facility allows the company to centralize its warehouse and distribution activities in a building adjacent to the manufacturing site where many of the products are produced. DuPont expects improved workflow and enhanced efficiency in delivering products to customers. Said Paul Berg, plant manager at Parlin. 'Our location within the New York City metropolitan area, with close proximity to major airports, docks and roads, will facilitate quick shipments and on-time deliveries.'

The new facility also contains indoor and temperature controls to ensure high product quality and high-rise storage managed by new computer inventory and tracking technology for quick, accurate ordering and response.
