Edale expands production
UK press manufacturer Edale has moved into the final unit of its head office in Hampshire to increase production in line with current and future growth plans.

The expansion will result in an additional 20,000 sq ft added to the current factory and taking the total space to 50,000 sq ft. The company expects the expansion to allow it to increase production, ensuring alignment with current and future growth plans.
Edale moved into its purpose built head office in Hampshire in 2009 and opened the second unit two years later, marked by a successful open day with over a hundred people in attendance.
According to Edale, its open approach to achieving the right solution for customers through technology partnerships and innovative engineering has seen them having to expand into the remaining unit on site to increase capabilities and facilitate current customer demand.
The company has also invested 350,000 GBP in another new Mazak CNC machine center to ensure the performance of critical components manufactured in house.
James Boughton, Edale’s managing director, commented: ‘In Edale’s growth we look forward to both, continuing and new collaborations with future technology partners and customers globally.’
