Edale increases presence in Algeria
Edale, the UK manufacturer of flexographic printing presses and converting equipment, partnered with GIC, its agent for France and North Africa, at Print Pack Alger on 24-27 September.
Bernhard Grob, Edale’s export sales director, said: ‘There were a high number of quality visitors at the show, not only from longstanding Edale customers but also many potential customers too – we found the show very worthwhile to increase the Edale brand through Algeria.’
The show was timed ahead of two Edale installations – an Edale Alpha-Multi and a 430mm servo-driven Gamma 7-color flexo press configured for the production of labels and film– both sold by GIC. The two machines are due to be installed at the customer’s factory in early December 2012 followed by a series of Open Days planned for Spring 2013.
Bruno Vitali, MD of GIC, said: ‘The show was very useful to gauge Edale’s presence in the marketplace. The feedback from existing customers was that they welcome a firm representation with strong technical support across France and Algeria.’
