Edale starts 2012 charity drive

Edale starts 2012 charity drive

‘Team Edale’ is to compete in the eight mile, off-road GRIM Challenge as it kick starts its effort to raise money and awareness for Edale’s chosen charity for 2012, Naomi House Children’s Hospice.

Edale, a manufacturer of specialist web printing and converting machinery in the UK, is sending managing director James Boughton (pictured, right), head of sales Jeremy Westcott (pictured, centre) and technical manager Daryl Finter (pictured, left) to compete in the GRIM Challenge, which uses land for testing army vehicles in Aldershot, Hampshire to put contestants through their paces and has them run, wade and crawl across the course.

Edale has chosen Naomi House as its charity for 2012 and any events or fundraising activities undertaken next year will see donations pledged to this charity. Naomi House is a hospice that provides support to children with conditions that mean they are unlikely to live to become adults. The charity provides care to families and young adults living in communities across the seven counties of Berkshire, Dorset, Hampshire, Isle of Wight, Surrey, West Sussex and Wiltshire.

The GRIM challenge takes place December 3-4.
