Clemson University’s Department of Graphic Communications will host the Color Measurement and Management symposium November 9-11, 2005. Featuring presentations, demonstrations and interactive breakout sessions, this two-and-a-half day symposium gathers together industry's best experts and innovators from around the country to share their understanding of how to make the system of process control work for you.
The Color Measurement and Management symposium is a technical program designed for industry professionals who need to communicate about and manage color effectively. Participants will learn the workflow for color reproduction, the calibration and use of color measurement devices, the techniques for profiling scanners, digital cameras, computer monitors, proofing systems and press capabilities, and the application of these tools and techniques to ensure consistent and repeatable color reproduction.
This symposium is ideal for those who have a background in process printing or for anyone who has attended one of Clemson's process printing programs or similar FTA sponsored workshops.
‘Our color management symposia is the next step to truly taking color reproduction process control to the highest level, from proof to production,’ says Dr Sam Ingram Chair of Clemson University's Graphic Communication program.
