AB Graphic launches world’s fastest semi-rotary die-cutting system

Fast Track die can run at speeds of up 150m/min in semi-rotary mode, with a repeat range of 250-508mm. It can be configured either in- or off-line with the new HP Indigo 8000 digital press.

With a patent applied for (GB1509471.7), AB Graphic the module represents a ‘quantum leap’ in semi rotary die-cutting technology.

Tony Bell, AB Graphic sales director, said: ‘With digital presses running faster, and a trend towards in-line finishing, there is a definite demand for higher speed die-cutting.’

Fast Track is to be shown first at Dscoop events worldwide, first at the next EMEA event in Israel and at the Dscoop meeting in Texas shortly after. It can also be seen at drupa 2016.
