Grafotronic demonstrates HI rewinder in Spain

The Grafotronic HI features a web path integrated inside the machine, allowing high run speeds to be achieved. The HI can accept a wide range of options including inspection, missing label detection systems and 100 percent PDF-based vision devices.

All machines can be equipped with the Grafotronic semi-automatic turret rewinder, which has now been installed in more than 100 machines worldwide. According to Gerbella, customers report an increase in productivity between 40–50 percent when using the system.

‘When we designed the new inspection machine we combined the best things from our vertical and horizontal solutions,’ said Gabriele Gerbella, sales director at Grafotronic.

‘To this we add a new innovative cutting system, the 3G, which is a pneumatic split version unit that is very operator friendly. The result was the HI, which has been a great success for us since it was shown the first time at Labelexpo.’

 The event will take place on May 28-29 in the printing school, Antoni Algueró of Barcelona.
