A label printer in the north of Delhi, Shree Balaji Labels, has recently installed its second Lintec LPM 300 GT Press and a Lintec GTDH hot foil stamping and die-cutting machine.

Established in 1994, the family-owned company, run by brothers Atul and Anuj Bansal, has seen impressive growth in the last three years. Initially founded with second hand machines, the company reports it was growing at a ‘medium pace’ till 2007, when it decided to install its first new Lintec LPM press.

‘The excellent print quality, very short set up time and minimal wastage, all helped to grow our profitability multi fold in a very short span of time,’ said Atul Bansal, the senior of the two brothers.

‘It also helped us open new markets like those of promotional tapes etc where we were able to print high quality four color process work without any non printing gap for telecom companies of the country,’ said Anuj Bansal. Running the first machine flat out for three shifts a day and seeing the increasing demand, they decided immediately to replicate the same equipment a second time over.

The second machine was demonstrated at the India label show in December 2008 and subsequently installed at their facility. Seah Choon Teck, sales manager for Lintec Singapore and responsible for the India market, said: ‘Shree Balaji has been our first and most important customer in India. Even though they are a low profile company, the quality of work that they do and their access to certain markets has seen Lintec equipment used very profitably with them. We hope that this rapid pace of growth will be maintained for the years to come.’
