Indian printer grows finishing capabilities with AB Graphic

Mumbai-based JK Fine Prints Pvt Ltd has purchased an AB Graphic Omega horizontal slitter rewinder as it looks to quadruple its label production capacity.

The Omega unit to be installed by the company, also known as JK Labels, includes a 100 percent inspection system and core cutter.

The Omega unit was supplied through Creed Engineers.

Himanshu Kapur (pictured, left), JK Labels director, said: ‘The core cutter will provide maximum efficiency while eliminating manpower, which is a key in today’s hi-tech world.

‘The HSR slitting machine has been specially modified to meet our customer demands from pharmaceutical industry and provides high levels of quality. We do not compromise on our quality as all our incoming materials have to be sourced from ISO based companies, which have all human friendly clearances.’

‘JK Labels has recently gone under a massive expansion project with a 10-year plan in place to quadruple its existing capacity, and add all the latest and most advanced machines in the market. JK Labels has been growing year-on-year thanks to customers who have supported it throughout.’
