Maan Engineering opens test center for roll-to-roll coating

Maan Engineering is a new entrant to the label industry, but has many years of experience in coating. It was present at Labelexpo Europe 2015 as a member of the Linerless Trail and with the showcase of its Inlinerless module. The first label printing companies have already used the test center.

Visitors can see equipment to apply silicone and hotmelt coatings at the test center in the Netherlands. In addition, the quality of the various coating layers can be determined through the use of dye stain tests, microscope tests, release and subsequent adhesion tests, and XRF tests, amongst others.

As well as client-specific demonstrations, there are plans to organize two linerless seminars in 2016, and to host live demonstration days in North America in 2016.
