Masterpress receives Certificate of Merit

The judges commented on the premium look and feel of the label as well as its quality, stating that it is a ‘beautiful example of limited editioning using high quality hybrid print technology.’ The label’s design draws inspiration from Formula 1 racing and features checkered flags and a soft-touch texture reminiscent of sport tires, which are representative of Grand Prix racing events. The effect has been further enhanced by the deep black background color.

According to Masterpress, through hybrid printing technology the company was able to deliver a printed shrink sleeve label with consistency of the deep black and soft-touch matte varnish over the entire bottle, with consistent quality in the high-shrink areas as well as improved scratch resistance.
