Prati to show Saturn finishing system at Australian open house

Prati will showcase its Saturn TE330 slitter rewinder die-cutting machine during an Australian open house event that will take place in Bayswater, Melbourne, on June 15-16. The event is being staged by Gallus Australia, Prati’s distributor for the Australia and New Zealand markets. 

The Saturn series is designed for the post-printing processes of self-adhesive label production, such as inspection, slitting, rewinding and die-cutting. Its modular design enables the machine to be configured according to customers' needs. It has a full program of upgrades and options including inspection units, inkjet printheads and die-cutting units. 

The machine on display at the event is equipped with a die-cutting unit and a web feeder that speeds up rolls change. The system features fully automated tensioning and cutting, and can process a wide range of substrates to a 330mm web width, including paper and plastic labels, booklet labels.
