Rotocontrol confirms three orders at Label Summit Africa

On the first day of Label Summit Africa, Rotocontrol received finishing equipment purchase orders from Spec Systems, Label and Litho and a third unnamed converter. The orders were confirmed through local agent Rototec and mark 21 finishing machines sold into South Africa.
Spec Systems’ directors Colin Roux and Steven Makepeace ordered an RSD die-cutting slitter rewinder. The machine features 100 percent Bosch Rexroth servo drives, online service and support, and after sales service from Rototec.
Spec Systems is a turnkey auto ID product supplier with more than 32 years’ experience providing label, barcode, RFID and identity card printing products. The company covers the entire value chain, from the manufacture of self-adhesive labels and printer ribbons to supplying and integrating barcode printing and management systems.
Barend Smit, director of Label and Litho, ordered the company’s second Rotocontrol finishing machine. The company has a long-standing relationship with Rototec, which also supplies Label and Litho with tooling.
Label and Litho is a supplier of barcode and RFID labels based in Northern Gauteng. The company is said to be the largest national supplier of magnetic and other types of parking tickets.
