South African converter orders second Rotocontrol finishing machine

Rotocontrol has received a second purchase order from S&N Labels in South Africa for a RSD 340mm web width slitter rewinder with one die-cutting station. The machine will complement its existing RSD machine with a DRM dual rewind semi-automatic turret. The order was placed through Patrick Aengenvoort, director of Rototec, Rotocontrol’s agent for South Africa, and marks the 16^th machine the Germany-based supplier has sold to the country. 

Simon Grisdale, managing director of S&N Labels, said: ‘We are extremely pleased with the technology and performance of our current Rotocontrol finishing machine with the DRM turret that we invested in over a year ago. The machine is operator-friendly with its ergonomic design and uncomplicated touch screen, and the DRM turret has greatly enhanced our productivity. With our production growth and requirement to add an additional machine, we immediately opted for Rotocontrol.’
