ABG expands portfolio with Gietz ROFO module
Visitors to Labelexpo Europe 2025 will be able to see the technology at Gietz's stand.

A B Graphic International (ABG), a finishing equipment manufacturer, was established by the Burton Family back in 1954.
Gietz was founded in 1892 and is now led by Hansjörg Gietz, a fifth-generation family member. For more than 65 years, the company has focused on the continuous improvement of heat transfer technologies (hot foiling) in flat-bed technology. The result for the label industry is the Gietz ROFO 450 or 570 series.
ABG already provides several of its own heat transfer (hot stamping) units in its product portfolio on its flagship Digicon machine, starting from semi-rotary products to an entry flat-bed (max. stamping force 25 tons) and its Big Foot device (50 tons stamping force).
However, ABG recognizes that market requirements are growing, and together with Gietz, the company intends to meet these requirements with the Gietz ROFO 450 or ROFO 570 units, which will be integrated into ABG’s finishing equipment.
The Gietz ROFO 450 Eco module provides a stamping area up to 24in in running length, a stamping force of 100 tons and up to 22,000 strokes per hour, respectively 120 m/min linear speed. For even higher performance, Gietz offers a Plus version, as well as a wider web width version with its Gietz ROFO 570 machine.
ABG continuously develops its finishing technology with faster-running finishing machines, further improvements, digital approaches and connected services. In partnering with Gietz, the company will widen its portfolio.
Labelexpo Europe 2025 will demonstrate that both companies are and remain independent. The common goal of ABG and Gietz is to offer customers the best possible machinery for their needs. Interested parties can visit Gietz at stand 4D26 to learn about the Gietz ROFO 450 Eco for themselves, where a highly embellished label with four processing steps will be produced.
Visitors can see how these labels are further finished in one of the ABG finishing lines at Labelexpo, which will be on HP's stand, 5D21.
ABG will showcase 10 machines across the show. ABG’s main booth is at stand 3E41, with additional machines at stands 5E25 and 5D21.
