EMT and Standard Finishing Systems expand collaboration

The companies will continue to integrate complementary technologies and develop additional finishing applications.

EMT International and Standard Finishing Systems have partnered to deliver integrated finishing technology to help digital print providers automate production, streamline workflows and expand their finishing capabilities.

The partnership is built on an existing collaboration between EMT's roll-fed cutting technology and Horizon's folding technology. Together, the companies have now sold multiple integrated finishing lines, with systems currently installed and running in several customer production facilities.

These early implementations demonstrated the strength of the combined technology by creating automated workflows that reduced manual handling and improved production efficiency. Building on that successful foundation, EMT and Standard will continue exploring opportunities to integrate complementary technologies and develop additional finishing systems for digital print applications.

'Our customers are increasingly looking for complete solutions that bring multiple technologies together into a single, integrated workflow,' said Mike Herold, vice president of marketing and sales at EMT International. 'This partnership allows us to build on the success we've already achieved together while continuing to develop solutions that help customers automate more of their production process.'

'Our early collaborations demonstrated the value that our combined solutions can bring to print providers,' said Steven Reny, president at Standard Finishing Systems. 'By formalizing this partnership, we can build on that momentum while developing productive, integrated workflows that help customers improve efficiency and expand the range of applications they can produce.'
