Superfast Labels expands with GM

UK label converter Superfast Labels has strengthened its production capabilities by installing a fourth GM finishing machine in two years, continuing its focused investment strategy to support growing demand for high-value multi-layer labels.
 
The latest investment is a GM DC350Flex equipped with the MultiLayer module, configured to increase production capacity for the company's expanding multi-layer label business. The new system enables Superfast Labels to process higher volumes while maintaining fast lead times, flexibility and consistent quality.
 
As demand for multi-layer labels continues to grow across sectors requiring multilingual information, regulatory compliance and enhanced product communication, converters are increasingly investing in dedicated finishing technology that combines flexibility, automation and reliable production performance. The DC350Flex platform has been developed to meet these requirements, allowing converters to produce advanced label applications while maintaining high productivity and efficient workflows.
 
The investment was led by directors Scott Obermuller and James Emmerson, who once again selected GM technology through John Hopkins of GM UK following the successful installation of three previous GM finishing systems.

The DC350Flex is GM's modular finishing platform, designed to grow alongside converters' production requirements. Configured with the MultiLayer module, the system enables the manufacturing of peel-and-reseal and extended-content labels, while maintaining accurate web handling, high production speeds and consistent finishing quality.
