Zircon adds DYM automation system from FIG

Dehradun-based Zircon Industries has installed a DYM automation system that integrates a SACD-450P automatic turret rewinder, a HAU-450 automatic butt splicing unwinder, and a NAC-450 automatic waste matrix removal system.

The system was supplied by Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), a supplier and service provider of flexographic presses and associated equipment from the global brands like DYM, Mark Andy, XSYS, Rotoflex, Kluge, KDS Quantum, Presstek, DCM, in the Indian subcontinent. 

FIG has been expanding its machine installation base across the country with orders pouring in from the new and existing clients alike. 

Gourav Roy, director, Flexo Image Graphics, informed: ‘We are grateful to Zircon for their latest investment in the DYM automation system, which is an integrated combo of SADC automatic turret rewinder, HAU automatic butt splicing unwinder, and a NAC automatic waste matrix removal system. Zircon’s last investment in the five DCM finishing systems from FIG hit the headlines. They chose the finishing systems from our French principal DCM ATN for advancing into optimum quality, productivity, and efficiency in the post-press processes. Also supplied by FIG, lines of Mark Andy Performance Series P7 flexographic presses and Rotoflex finishing solutions are currently running at Zircon.’

The company is the first Indian flexographic printer certified with the ‘HD Flexo Certification’ – a global recognition of consistently printed graphic samples of a company in five different commercial jobs. The print samples that achieved the quality required for the compliance with specific standards for the certification were printed on Mark Andy Performance Series P7 flexographic presses from FIG.
