Flint Group invests in low migration UV ink manufacturing

To meet the increased market demand for low migration UV inks, Flint Group is expanding its plant at Trelleborg, Sweden. ‘Our increased capacity to manufacture low migration inks will allow us to follow the global market demands of food packaging applications’, explained Peter Hakansson, operations director.  He continued: ‘The investment will also ensure the elimination of potential contamination since the low migration products will be processed on separate and specialised equipment.’  Although demands for low migration UV inks are currently centred on mainland Europe, Flint sees the investment as strengthening its global infrastructure.
