FTA unveils conference logo

The North American Flexographic Technical Association (FTA) has unveiled the logo for its October 15-17 Fall Conference themed ‘Efficiency in Flexography: Connecting the Dots’.

The conference, chaired by Sean Teufler, Harper Corporation of America, and Johnny Dye, Accredo Packaging, will take place at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

‘This conference is designed to empower each printer with tangible tools that can be utilized the very next day,’ said Teufler.

Abstracts are now being accepted for inclusion into the program agenda. Technical experts, researchers, academics and industry leaders are invited to submit their papers before the May 11 deadline. Abstract submissions should describe: significant process control concepts; techniques to improve productivity; FIRST methodologies; expanded gamut; continuous improvement efforts; and optimized workflow initiatives.

The two-and-one-half day event will feature six sessions, a pre-conference session, and a table-top exhibition that runs concurrently with breaks, lunch and an evening reception.
