Gidue sells first E-Combat press into China

Gidue has announced the sale of a 10-color E-Combat 370 to Suzhou Jantan Packaging & Printing through its Chinese subsidiary, Gidue China.

The press is equipped with the company’s Flower flexo heads, two silkscreen units and two cold foil units, and will be used to print labels and light cardboard.

Suzhou Jantan, founded in 1992, is located in Wujiang City, Jiangsu Province, and is engaged in label and packaging printing for worldwide brands in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food packaging and electronic sectors.  Suzhou Jantan’s turnover was more than 5 million euros in 2006, with forecasted growth of over 10 million euros in 2-3 years from now. The company has invested 3 million euros in a new factory with many additional production lines, due to be complete in 2009.
