H&A Prestige Packaging orders seventh Makro labeler
UK-based H&A Prestige Packaging has ordered its seventh Makro labeler. The success of Makro labelers at both H&A in Chorley and Halewood International at Hyton has resulted in yet another order from the group.

The labeler will be able to dress at 200bpm, applying body and back labels for Irish Meadow Cream Liqueur, a Halewood International brand. This latest order will be integrated into a new line which is being created at Chorley purely to bottle cream liqueurs.
Richard Portman, managing director of Makro Labelling UK, said: ‘We were naturally delighted to receive this latest order from H&A. We have been able to demonstrate to the clients the flexibility of the Makro labelers and the team at Chorley have become very conversant with the Makro machines, finding them easy to set up, which is essential for a contract packer.’
Lee Tayburn, group production director at H&A Prestige Packaging, said: ‘We have had excellent back up and support from Richard and his team here in the UK. The attention to detail prior to the machines leaving the factory in Italy means they are very much plug and play by the time they are installed in our lines. As a contract packer, handling anything from 100 cases to 10,000 cases in a single run, accuracy is of paramount importance to us and Makro have always excelled at this.’
The Mak 3 was installed in late summer, in time for the autumn bottling for the important Christmas sales period.
